U.S. stocks are higher to open the last trading day of the week. The DJIA briefly topped 4,000 during intraday trading yesterday, before ultimately finishing lower. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq also finished lower on Thursday, though the Nasdaq also reached an all-time high during the day. Despite the down session yesterday, all three major averages appear to be headed towards a winning week.
U.S. Treasury yields are higher this morning, with the 2-year Treasury yield up 0.6 basis points to 4.80%, the 5-year Treasury yield up 1.8 basis points to 4.42%, and the 10-year Treasury yield up 2.3 basis points to 4.40%. Longer-term advance rates are higher today.
