Angeline “Angie” Johnson is an enrolled member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate of the Lake Traverse Reservation. She attended the Sisseton-Wahpeton Community College and received her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
For the past 27 years, she has assisted Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate members with homeownership opportunities whether it be homeownership or home repair. She is currently the Administrator/Coordinator for T Yamni, the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate One-Stop Homeownership Program, assisting members with homeownership possibilities. She is also the Manager for the Housing Improvement Program (Bureau of Indian Affairs) assisting members with home repairs or replacement homes. Program partnerships include GROW SD, Homes Are Possible Inc. (HAPI), USDA Rural Development and SD Native Homeownership Coalition.
