Joelyn Jensen-Marren is the chief risk and compliance officer for FHLB Des Moines. She has responsibility for the Bank’s enterprise risk area, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk and model risk.
Joelyn joined FHLB Des Moines in 1999. Prior to her current role, she served as the Bank’s chief financial officer, and was responsible for the accounting, strategic planning and financial controls teams. Joelyn also served as senior vice president/portfolio strategy, as well as in various financial risk positions more than 20 years.
Prior to joining the Bank, Joelyn managed portfolio investments for Centura Bank in North Carolina and CoBank in Colorado. Joelyn has a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State. She earned her Master of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado, Denver. She currently serves on the Board of the Polk County Housing Trust Fund.
