Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines ("FHLB Des Moines" or "Bank") may make an interactive online bot, chatbot, virtual assistant, virtual concierge, or other non-human (“Bot”) service available to you that provides automated responses to your questions and inquiries about the Bank’s affordable housing options, eligibility criteria, and application process which is powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The Bot is provided solely as a convenience and FHLB Des Moines makes no warranty that the Bot service will be available at any particular time or be free of fault or error. FHLB Des Moines will disclose the use of the Bot to the extent required by applicable law. We keep a record of your conversations with the Bot for quality assurance, to maintain an accurate account of your requests, identify opportunities to make the Bot’s responses more helpful and to ensure the Bot’s performance is optimal. You will be asked to provide your name in connection with the use of this Bot feature. No other personal information is needed and should not be provided. The name shared with us when using the Bot shall be subject to the applicable privacy-related policies and notices described in FHLB Des Moines' Privacy Policy found here https://www.fhlbdm.com/privacy/. You will not use the Bot to send any abusive, defamatory, dishonest, or obscene message, and doing so may result in termination of the Bot session.
