Employee Feature: Jeff Fuller
Some of you might have had the opportunity to meet the newest member of our Collateral team, Jeff, during your remote Member Collateral Verifications (MCVs). For those of you who haven’t, we are excited to introduce you to Jeff Fuller, Collateral Review Analyst, who started at the Bank in May.
Jeff lives in Western Montana but was born and raised in the Midwest. He began his career over 22 years ago in consumer finance with Norwest Bank in Helena, Montana. Since joining FHLB Des Moines a few months ago, Jeff has learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in his new role, especially in the time of COVID-19.
“During my brief time with the Bank, I’ve had the privilege to work with excellent teammates as they adjust to remote reviews,” he said. “I’ve been extremely impressed with everyone’s ability to accept new challenges.”
He said that his favorite part of this new position is getting to work with members across our district to assess collateral risk while facilitating a mutually beneficial relationship.
“As a banking veteran and having served as part of a bank’s senior management team, I have much admiration and compassion for the roles of our members,” he said. “I feel the Analyst position allows us to help mitigate risk for our members while enhancing overall performance. This is especially important during anxious moments in times like now.”
Growing up in Bloomington, Minnesota as a competitive freestyle skier, Jeff always dreamed of living in the mountains. Living in Western Montana with his wife and three kids has helped fulfill that dream. He and his family enjoy all things outdoors and he loves the opportunity to coach his kids in baseball and football.
