New Lease Addendum Creates Pathway for Grant Funding Use on Hawaiian Home Lands

Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines is pleased to announce the availability of a lease addendum, which was developed in partnership with the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to clear a pathway for FHLB Des Moines members to provide down payment grants to low- and moderate-income households purchasing a home on Hawaiian home lands.
The benefit of the lease addendum is that it can to be used with our Down Payment programs, Native American Homeownership Initiative (NAHI) and Home$tart which provides eligible Hawaii homebuyers $25,000 in down payment grant funding.
